Reports to Store Manager:


As a Retail Team Leader, you will collaborate with your Store Manager to guide store personnel in meeting sales performance goals through proactive coaching, fostering a team-oriented sales atmosphere, and ensuring operational excellence while serving as the manager on duty.

This role involves being entrusted with store keys to manage opening and closing procedures as scheduled, acting in the capacity of the manager on duty.

Leadership:


Collaborates with the Store management team to direct store staff in achieving sales, service, and operational objectives when designated as the manager on duty.

Exemplifies company values and leads by example as an active mentor.
Effectively communicates priorities and sales-driving information to ensure store staff is equipped to optimize business outcomes.
Assists in the recruitment of store personnel and promotes diversity by contributing to an inclusive store atmosphere.

Performance:
Aids the management team in realizing store business plans, encompassing sales, customer service, and operational targets.
Understands how to utilize store reports to inform decisions that drive store performance.
Engages in business outreach initiatives and communicates leads to the Store Manager.
Identifies performance enhancement opportunities and collaborates with the management team to contribute to development strategies.

Operational Excellence:


Partners with the management team to ensure adequate staffing to effectively execute initiatives and operational tasks, fulfilling the customer promise.

Assists the management team in training store personnel on all internal operational functions as assigned.
Stays updated on corporate communications, directives, initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Supports the management team in implementing store programs aimed at increasing efficiencies in sales, service, operations, and branding when designated.

Acts as a role model for all store team members and provides enthusiastic motivational leadership.

Collaborates with the management team to conduct regular store meetings, ensuring all team members are informed of company directives.


Customer Experience:


Assists in training the store team on customer service standards to create an outstanding customer experience, exceed customer expectations, and achieve a high Net Promoter Score.

Utilizes customer feedback to address or resolve concerns.

Works with the management team to ensure the store is visually aligned with brand standards and that marketing initiatives are executed according to company guidelines.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of Retail or Sales experience.
Creative individual who demonstrates sound judgment and is attuned to the business landscape.
Self-driven, results-oriented, strategic thinker.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exhibits active listening and problem-solving abilities.
Proven track record in training and developing high-performing store teams.
Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
Ability to operate a computer and POS System.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift, frequently bend, squat, and twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb a ladder to access merchandise and/or supplies, and see and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
