Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will leverage their expertise to support gas turbine initiatives, addressing customer engine and hardware challenges. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) support by evaluating hardware issues in accordance with engine manual specifications.
  • Collaborating with design engineering teams and maintenance facilities to propose effective solutions.
  • Maintaining consistent communication with the LCE team and customers regarding project status.
  • Analyzing field issues related to gas turbine engines and ensuring compliance with performance standards.
  • Creating and assessing documentation for conditions that deviate from engine manual requirements.
  • Leading customer communications and driving technical execution of field support.

Qualifications:
We are eager to connect with candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design for gas turbine or turbo-machinery components.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings with a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining composure.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all organizational levels.

Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:

  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle engineering and product support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • A passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Work Environment:
The role primarily involves office work, with occasional visits to shop floors. Candidates should be prepared for substantial telephone and computer usage, adhering to strict regulatory standards.
