Job Summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team in the United States. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing process plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Process Planning
    • Develop and maintain manufacturing process plans (MPPs) to identify the most appropriate equipment, methods, and special processes required to manufacture precision machined components.
    • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Production stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of MPPs.
  • Machining Strategy Development
    • Update existing and develop new machining strategies, NC programs, and tool designs to optimize manufacturing processes.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of machining strategies.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Create and modify detailed work instructions, manufacturing sketches, and other shop floor documentation to support production needs.
    • Provide shop floor support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
  • Quality and Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects and programs.
    • Investigate and perform root cause analysis of component non-conformances and ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
    • Willingness to learn and receive training, and when required, train others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering.
  • Working experience utilizing PowerMill, TOP Solid V7, and Vericut.
  • Experience with precision machining capabilities, methods, cutting tools, and fixtures used to manufacture precision components made from aluminum alloys, stainless steel, titanium, and other common aerospace alloys.
  • Effective project management and good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
