Position Overview

JOB SUMMARY - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Full Time - Gastroenterology

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will take on the responsibility of advanced clinical practice within a specialized area. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary health care team, you will enhance nursing practices and contribute to improved patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patients.
  • Providing education to both staff and patients.
  • Engaging in research initiatives.

You will play a crucial role within the health care team across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community environments.

Qualifications

Educational Background: A Master's degree in Nursing or as a Physician Assistant is required.

Licensure and Certification

Certifications: BLS certification is mandatory; candidates must hold a NJ-Advanced Practice Provider - APN and NJ-Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant license.
