About the Role

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and ensuring accurate and efficient sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including the indoor and outdoor facilities, restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash.
  • Sales Transactions: Conduct accurate and efficient sales transactions, including retail and fuel sales, while adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, including securing funds in the safe and performing cashier reconciliation at the end of each shift.
  • Food Service: Prepare and serve food and hot beverage products, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Availability: Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Food Handling Certificates: Possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.
  • Cooking/Restaurant Experience: Preferred experience in cooking or restaurant settings.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on hard and uneven surfaces.
  • Lifting and Moving: Ability to bend, lift, push, and move product using proper lifting techniques.
  • Temperature Exposure: Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions during daylight hours and moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers at 34 F or lower.
