Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Sanitation Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the club and fitness equipment while delivering outstanding customer service to all members and guests.
  • Ensuring the entrance and lobby areas are welcoming and presentable.
  • Cleaning and restocking locker room supplies.
  • Organizing and maintaining storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
  • Keeping an adequate supply of towels available on the exercise floor.
  • Performing maintenance on all equipment as needed.
  • Receiving and properly storing all deliveries.
  • Assisting with special events as required.
  • Alerting the Housekeeping Manager regarding any urgent maintenance needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A clear understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to service athletic equipment, along with familiarity with cleaning products and tools.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
