Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Ensure all daily responsibilities are fulfilled without compromising service quality or brand standards.
  • Foster enduring relationships with clients, being attuned to their needs and preferences.
  • Drive sales through effective strategies, client engagement, and the acquisition of new customers while nurturing ongoing relationships.
  • Exhibit knowledge of competitors and leverage this insight to enhance sales and customer loyalty.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed about current collections.
  • Consistently follow up with clients to influence and finalize sales.
  • Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously, transitioning as necessary.
  • Discuss product features and enhance sales by recommending suitable add-ons tailored to client needs.
  • Demonstrate persuasive, confident, and friendly service skills.
  • Adapt personal selling techniques to positively impact overall store performance.
  • Take ownership of results, remaining aware of personal and store metrics to achieve set goals.
  • Influence purchasing decisions through a balanced approach of patience and assertiveness.
  • Uphold Tapestry's selling and service standards consistently.
  • Make a positive impression by presenting oneself in a sophisticated and professional manner, in line with Tapestry's style guidelines.
  • Understand local market dynamics and their potential impact on business performance, supporting the execution of sales strategies.

  • Meet customer needs through proactive and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Collaborate with management to create personalized sales and client engagement strategies.

Operational Duties:

  • Process shipments as required.
  • Restock inventory on the sales floor as needed.
  • Utilize Tapestry's tools and technology to support relationship building and sales efforts.
  • Adhere to all retail policies and procedures, including those related to operations and loss prevention.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, ensuring the store meets Tapestry's standards consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of prior experience in a luxury retail environment preferred, with a solid understanding of fashion trends and market competition.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including proficiency with mobile devices and the internet.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, mobility to navigate the sales floor and stockroom, and the capacity to lift and carry products as needed.
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate business needs.
