About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Engineering Technology at Savannah State University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and a proven track record of research and teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach undergraduate-level courses in cybersecurity, including curriculum development and course instruction.
  • Conduct research in cybersecurity, including publishing papers and presenting at conferences.
  • Mentor undergraduate students in research activities related to cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with the Project Director and co-Project Director on research projects related to cybersecurity.
  • Write grants proposals and other grant-related activities.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate-level teaching and research.
  • Strong theoretical and/or experimental background related to cybersecurity.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cybersecurity certification.
