Position Overview:
Integration Innovation, Inc. is in search of a UAS Project Engineering Specialist to provide critical support to the PM UAS BMD Product Office. This role is essential for delivering technical guidance and leadership in Defense Acquisition.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication abilities, along with a strong capacity to thrive in a collaborative setting.

This position emphasizes the importance of technical and programmatic support across various systematic engineering requirements (risks, specifications, processes, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison among technical teams to enhance and streamline UAS product offerings.

- Ensure that uniform standards of risk management are consistently applied throughout the UAS Project Office portfolio by supporting, reviewing, and approving Risk Management Plans developed by the Product Offices.


- Develop efficient methods for product office risk managers to accurately report risks, issues, and opportunities while minimizing administrative burdens.


- Facilitate Risk Management processes, including the execution of Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), development and assessment of Integrated Master Schedules, and evaluation of Cost Performance Reports.

- Collaborate with Risk Management Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to identify and quantify risks, as well as explore mitigation strategies and resource needs.


- Provide guidance to senior management and product-level managers regarding current and potential risks through comprehensive reports, documentation, and presentations.

- Proactively advise product offices on effective mitigation and reporting strategies successfully implemented by sister product offices.

- Act as the Subject Matter Expert in utilizing the PEO M&S/PEO Aviation RIO tool.

- Design and implement technical solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary challenges.

- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance metrics for technical activities within the UAS product office.

- Lead teams in managing both internal and contractor progress within established time frames and budgetary constraints.

- Prepare and deliver technical and programmatic briefings to management, partners, and stakeholders.

- Assist in creating milestone and technical documentation for contract requirements packages and various contracting and acquisition strategies.

- Execute program objectives and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve these goals.


- Support the development of integrated master schedules, strategic roadmaps, and milestone and technical documentation for contract requirements packages and various contracting and acquisition strategies.


Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree is required, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred.

- Experience in Product Level Management under an ACAT I or II program is preferred.


- Proven experience in a related field at the program level, ideally providing programmatic and/or systems engineering/integration support to major DoD acquisition activities.

- Familiarity with the development, testing, fielding/training, and sustainment phases of a system's life cycle.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Contracts/Subcontracts terminology, and business practices.

- Experience managing various contract types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price).

- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as organize and facilitate working groups.


- Must be adept at preparing detailed written reports and presentations suitable for senior military and corporate leadership, as well as delivering material orally.

- Strong understanding of Army Acquisition processes, Milestone Documentation, and program decision-making processes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.


- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and engage with numerous Government and contractor personnel in a fast-paced setting.

- Knowledge of the acquisition process, including development, testing & evaluation, contracting, production, and fielding.

- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

- Candidates must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

- Self-starter with a proven ability to develop and present reports to management.

- US Citizenship is required.

- An active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain it is required.

- May require occasional travel.
