About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Field Service Engineer to join our team at Integration Innovation, Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our IBCS Team located onsite at a secure facility, providing high-level technical support, system integration, and field service engineering for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support services in support of maintaining and sustaining fielded IBCS systems, equipment, and software at all identified locations.
  • Represent the IBCS program as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Integrate and maintain systems running Red Hat Enterprise Linux and integrate COTS/GOTS products with IBCS systems.
  • Assist in the emplacement and initialization of the IBCS system, ensuring timely and efficient deployment.
  • Advise clients on the capabilities and limitations of the IBCS system, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Assist in troubleshooting IBCS hardware, software, and networks, resolving complex technical issues.
  • Provide feedback to program leadership regarding system performance and end-user feedback, informing strategic decisions.
  • Perform operator and maintainer tasks on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Conduct training when needed, educating clients on the effective use of IBCS systems.
  • Support Program Help Desk as required, providing timely and effective technical support.
  • Conduct scheduled equipment inventories, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of IBCS systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Prior field service engineer experience or similar experience, with a strong understanding of technical systems and integration.
  • Security+ certification, with the ability to obtain CompTIA Linux+ certification within six months of hire date.
  • Experience with tactical networks and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of computer systems and network architecture.
  • Experience in field operator training, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients.
  • Active DoD secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain interim clearance to start.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, with a strong commitment to national security and client confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures, with a strong understanding of business operations and management.
  • Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information in discussions and written documents.
  • Experience in applying security controls to Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and DISA STIG implementation.
  • Experience establishing and troubleshooting Distributed Mission Ops (DMO) and Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) exercises with local and large exercises.
  • Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner, with a strong commitment to client satisfaction and confidentiality.
