Key Responsibilities:

As the Branch Manager, you will be accountable for the daily management of one or more branches, ensuring exceptional customer service, fostering relationships with business partners, and guiding the branch team to achieve and surpass set objectives for account openings, loans, and overall business growth.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and enhancing existing partnerships through strategic outreach, networking, and referral follow-ups; actively pursuing cross-selling opportunities.
  • Leading the team in daily operations; overseeing scheduling for branches and traveling staff; providing training; ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and mentoring staff to meet branch objectives and uphold performance standards; promoting continuous improvement for career advancement.
  • Evaluating and comparing departmental and individual performance against expectations and goals; implementing necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
  • Meeting established lending objectives as outlined by the Corporate Banking Manager in alignment with departmental and company-wide budgetary goals.
  • Ensuring adherence to branch security protocols, fraud prevention measures, the Bank Secrecy Act, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting documentation and reports for management in a timely manner; engaging with customers and community stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Participating in departmental and company meetings; maintaining regular interaction with Regional Board Members.
  • Actively engaging in community service initiatives as mandated by company requirements.

Qualifications for Success:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years in banking, financial services, or retail sales is essential.
  • Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to obtain NMLS certification and Signature Guarantee certification.

  • Skills/Knowledge:
  • Proven management, supervisory, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with customers, colleagues, and community leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills; meticulous attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is crucial.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to travel to various branches as required.
  • Availability to work a rotating Saturday schedule.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and walk/stand intermittently.
  • Capability to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.
