KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems' hardware and software.
  • Administer and ensure the security of operating systems.
  • Restore files or systems by developing, writing, and implementing backup protocols.
  • Provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral devices, including application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers, and storage solutions.
  • Execute recovery procedures, manage scheduling and backups, and monitor batch processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred: Associate's degree; required: High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
  • Familiarity with basic system administration tools and processes.
  • Strong skills in computer networking and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to adhere to a high-security environment and comply with company security policies and controls.
  • Capable of managing stressful situations and multitasking as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Flexible working hours, including availability on holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Moderate lifting may be necessary.
  • Occasional overtime may be required.
