The Lube Oil Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the performance and safety of vehicles. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring that vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive service reports for vehicles.
- Replace essential components such as wiper blades and batteries.
- Change motor oil, transmission fluid, and brake fluid as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interiors during service tasks.
- Utilize hand or air-powered grease guns to inject grease into critical units like springs and joints.
- Inspect fluid levels in steering gear and power steering systems.
- Conduct light maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and cooling system flushes.
- Perform routine vehicle check-ups and maintenance.
- Grease bearings and inspect brake systems for repairs and renovations.
- Possession of an NC Vehicle State Inspection license or ability to obtain one.
- Experience with multi-point inspections, including fluid checks and tire pressure assessments.
- Proficient in performing oil changes and lubrication services.
- Skilled in tire repairs, rotations, and balancing.
- Ability to conduct light maintenance and minor repairs.
- Experience with battery maintenance and installations.
- Valid driver's license is required.
