Member Relations Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY
The Member Relations Specialist is tasked with overseeing overdue loan accounts and ensuring efficient collections while fostering positive interactions with members. This position entails reaching out to members regarding outstanding payments, establishing payment plans, and collaborating with the Member Relations team to effectively address concerns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly assess accounts for delinquency status
- Identify accounts requiring team discussion
- Generate reports on collection efforts
- Engage with members through various communication methods
- Develop payment arrangements and strategies
- Assist the Manager with loan documentation
- Ensure accurate maintenance of member account records
- Update Credit Bureau reporting as necessary
- Investigate and resolve payroll deduction modifications
- Adhere to Credit Union policies regarding collections
- Prepare legal documentation for collection accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members
- Recover assets for the Credit Union
- Address legal matters related to Credit Union accounts
- Perform additional tasks as directed by Management
