Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in a related field is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a similar environment is preferred.
  • A positive demeanor and a strong commitment to customer service are essential.
  • Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to convey information clearly.
  • Quick decision-making skills to evaluate options accurately.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, including anticipating and addressing potential issues.
  • Effective listening skills to understand and clarify guest concerns.
  • Basic financial literacy and arithmetic skills are necessary.
  • Capability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Understanding of hotel services and guest offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to uniform policies.
  • Ensure regular attendance in line with company standards and scheduling needs.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Greet and assist guests at the Front Desk, maintaining a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage the telephone switchboard effectively, meeting performance standards.
  • Handle inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions courteously.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Stay informed about rates, packages, and special promotions.
  • Gather necessary information for room reservations and follow established procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and assist as required.
  • Facilitate check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Operate all relevant Front Desk systems competently.
  • Ensure the proper logging and delivery of packages and messages to guests.
  • Utilize two-way radio communication etiquette when interacting with colleagues.
  • Deliver requested items to guests, such as luggage and amenities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and local events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
