Position Overview

This is a Part-Time role. The Front Desk Associate will warmly welcome and guide members, visitors, and staff as they enter the facility. The Front Desk will ensure the security of the entrance area. This position will assist with member inquiries and provide information regarding gym operations and policies. The Front Desk will also carry out various administrative tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and General Manager. Additionally, this role is responsible for promoting, selling, implementing, and adhering to the programs, policies, and procedures related to sales.

Responsibilities
  • Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the appropriate greeting for the time of day to create a friendly and positive entrance and exit experience
  • Accurately checks each member into the gym following the proper check-in procedures
  • Registers all guests into the gym using the correct registration methods
  • Provides new guests with a tour of the gym and assists in answering questions about current membership options
  • Helps guests with purchasing a new membership
  • Answers phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, utilizing proper phone greeting techniques
  • Processes retail and concession sales efficiently
  • Keeps the front desk area clean and organized
