Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Church Administrator to join our team at St. Andrew & St. Charles Episcopal Church.

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, strong administrative abilities, and a passion for supporting the church community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating church calendar events, maintaining parish records, preparing reports, and managing day-to-day administrative tasks.

In addition, they will provide support to the wardens and volunteers in their roles, assist with coordination of church programs and projects, and perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate church calendar events, including scheduling and booking facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date parish records, including minutes and correspondence.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for the vestry and other stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the wardens and volunteers, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Assist with coordination of church programs and projects, including preparing materials and resources.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications.
  • A self-starter attitude and ability to take initiative.
What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
