The Church Pension Group is a leading financial services organization in Midtown Manhattan, providing pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church since 1917. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Benefits Relationship Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in account management and possess a deep understanding of benefit related products and services.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with assigned clients
  • Provide consultative analysis and support to clients on benefits and CPG programs and services
  • Serve as faculty for business to business and business to client events
  • Deliver administrator onboarding and education training
  • Provide knowledge, service, and intervention to report, track, and resolve client issues and complex cases

  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with all levels of Church leadership
  • Strategic thinking and consultative skills
  • Professional demeanor to serve as a face of CPG
  • Ability to understand and resolve complex issues and problems
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: $76,000 - $91,000 per annum. This position requires regular travel, up to 60%, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including flexible benefits, core benefits, and elective benefits.
