Patient Care Specialist

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position requires a high level of compassion, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe and direct care to patients in their assigned unit, making age-specific adjustments as needed.
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide timely updates to the healthcare team.
- Assist with feeding, hydration, and nutrition, as well as ambulation and patient mobility.
- Provide basic hygiene and activities of daily living care.
- Collect and record patient information, including vital signs, intake/output, and other relevant data.
- Assist with specimen collection for diagnostic or waived tests.
- Participate in hospital, department, or unit patient safety initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, visitors, co-workers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Neonates (0-4 weeks)
- Infant (1-12 months)
- Pediatrics (1-12 years)
- Adolescents (13-19 years)
- Adults (20-64 years)
- Geriatrics (65 years and older)
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent
- AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
