Practice Manager

Metis Practice Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Practice Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical offices, ensuring seamless patient care, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate staff and guide clinical practices to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement effective workplace procedures to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
- Work with the Practice Manager to assess and develop practice growth strategies, marketing, and reputation management.
- Supervise daily practice operations, including inventory management and staff performance reviews.
- Recruit, interview, and hire candidates when needed, and conduct/coordinate all new hire training and orientations.
- Interact with patients and address their complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with Physicians and Practice Manager to develop business strategies and patient services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee infractions, discipline, and coaching conversations.
- Work with Practice Manager to counsel practice staff, evaluate performance, create clear plans for improvement, and schedule follow-up meetings to track overall progress.
- Assure that all team members are providing good customer service consistently.
- High School diploma or equivalent certification (Required).
- Proficiency with electronic practice management (EPM) electronic medical records (EMR) (Required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Windows (Required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of medical office management experience preferred.
- Impactful leadership style that is results-driven and values-focused.
- The ability to effectively manage employee performance and staffing needs.
- The ability to create and communicate realistic goals and timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Thorough and organized with patient information and file maintenance.
- Ability to maintain a calm manner and patience when working with patients, employees, and physicians.
- Ability to multitask and balance varying job duties.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet company deadlines.
