About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Science Liaison Director to join our Oncology Field team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our bold vision: We aspire to cure cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships and engage in scientific discussions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Medical Affairs, Research and Development, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Formulate and maintain a territory engagement plan aligned with US Field Medical priorities and objectives.
  • Cultivate medical insights and intelligence through scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals and the medical community.
  • Ensure timely entries of insights into insight tools for internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to unsolicited inquiries in accordance with field medical SOP.
  • Support Takeda Oncology-sponsored research and identify qualified research sites for company-sponsored clinical investigations.
  • Participate in executing USMAO strategy at medical conferences.
  • Identify potential qualified sites for future pipeline studies.
Requirements
  • An advanced scientific or healthcare degree is required; a doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Oncology experience is mandatory, with Hematology therapeutic area experience being an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of healthcare, clinical, or related experience is required.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for engendering trust and respect among peers, team members, and supervisors.
  • Versatility in technical and scientific languages is necessary for effective communication with KOLs, Medical Affairs, Research and Development, and other key stakeholders.
Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

The estimated salary range reflects anticipated compensation for this role. Actual base salary may depend on various factors, including qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education attained, certifications, or professional licenses held, and location.
