Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Bottom Line Equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our parts department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and maintain effective inventory control processes to ensure that our parts department is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Procurement: Develop and maintain efficient procurement procedures to ensure that our department is profitable and that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Expense Management: Review and manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and ensure that resources are being used effectively and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and support, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct regular reports and analysis to identify areas for improvement and to ensure that our department is meeting its goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, organization, time management, communication, and mathematical skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and to lift up to 40 lbs.
