The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the management team in various aspects of daily operations to ensure effective service delivery, customer satisfaction, and the attainment of financial objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the General Manager in effectively communicating weekly and periodic budget variances compared to in-store and final profit and loss statements.
Articulates financial targets to staff and provides guidance to achieve those targets.
Implements proper security and cash handling procedures, ensuring cashiers adhere to established policies.
Supports the General Manager in conducting daily and weekly inventory checks accurately and promptly.
Assists in placing orders for food, produce, paper, and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels at all times.

Collaborates with the General Manager to consistently manage labor, food, and supply costs within budgetary constraints.

Utilizes and maintains all reporting and tracking systems for financial performance.
Upholds a high level of integrity in all financial documentation.
Team Development
Provides clear direction and leadership to all team leaders and staff.
Acts as a role model for all employees by demonstrating professionalism and setting a positive example in the workplace.
Encourages an open-door policy, making oneself accessible to all staff members.
Participates in the interview process for hourly employee candidates and makes hiring recommendations to the General Manager.
Assists in new hire orientation and training for new employees.

Submits necessary paperwork for new hires, including New Hire/Change Forms and payroll documentation, to Payroll and/or Human Resources in a timely manner.

Ensures that systems, materials, and personnel are in place to facilitate quality employee training.
Regularly addresses and documents performance, attendance, or behavioral issues with hourly employees.
Assists the General Manager in maintaining appropriate staffing levels within the establishment at all times.
Contributes to preparing performance evaluations for hourly employees.
Supports the General Manager in performance counseling and terminations.
Operates the establishment with unwavering integrity and adherence to policies and procedures.
Operational Standards
Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
Assists the General Manager in ensuring all areas of the establishment meet or exceed cleanliness standards.
Completes necessary checklists related to quality service and cleanliness during each shift.
Holds employees accountable for compliance with uniform and grooming standards at all times.
Ensures that all recipe and food quality standards are consistently upheld.
Maintains proper sanitation procedures at all times.
Fosters a positive relationship with local health and sanitation officials and promptly addresses any issues.
Monitors and ensures employees meet established speed of service standards.
Assists in conducting quarterly quality audits of the establishment.
Ensures guests receive courteous and friendly service.
Follows up on guest concerns and ensures they are resolved professionally and promptly.
Manages dining room operations and guest interactions throughout shifts.
Assists the General Manager in maintaining the establishment in excellent condition.
Operates the establishment with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Facilities Management
Assists the General Manager in ensuring equipment is maintained in proper working order.
Supports the General Manager in acquiring necessary supplies for operations.
Assists with timely repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Participates in preventive maintenance of equipment on a consistent basis.
Assists the General Manager in executing upgrades and enhancements as directed.
Ensures all employees comply with safety and security protocols in line with company standards.
Marketing Initiatives
Implements all national and company-sponsored marketing events and promotions.
Assists the General Manager in developing quarterly local marketing strategies for the establishment.
Promotes internal marketing through suggestive selling, sampling, and positive guest interactions.
General and Physical Requirements
Most job responsibilities require standing or walking for the duration of a typical 9-10 hour shift.
Frequently moves throughout the establishment to engage with employees and monitor customer satisfaction.
Regular bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting is required.
Utilizes a keyboard daily for data entry.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be capable of performing any employee's duties while training or covering staffing needs.
Must have reliable transportation for necessary tasks such as bank deposits or deliveries.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
This position is located at a corporate facility.
