Critical Care Nurse

The Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit position at Las Palmas Medical Center offers a dynamic and challenging work environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- RN licensed in the state of Texas or Compact State.
- BCLS and ACLS certification (6 months from hire for GN's or transfer into unit).
- Associates, BSN, or RN Diploma.
- Preferred experience as RN in Critical Care or Med-Surg/Telemetry.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and written.
- Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
