Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at First Mid Bank & Trust. As a key member of our support center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving their inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Account Management: Assist customers with account-related inquiries and transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner, escalating complex issues to management as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our banking products and services, recommending solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, communicating effectively through various channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1+ year of customer service experience and/or previous experience working in a financial institution preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and communication skills, and high level of interpersonal skills.
