About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Value Delivery to lead our technology project management function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of business value through effective project management, portfolio management, and measurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers to deliver business value through effective project management, portfolio management, and measurement.
  • Define and implement standards, deliverables, and processes for the project management function, ensuring consistency across project managers.
  • Implement an agile operating model across project management, upskilling project managers as needed, and continuously evolving the operating model.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement and value-orientation with project managers driving holistic execution, including deliver, change management, training, measurement, and metrics.
  • Allocate project managers to projects/programs, manage team capacity, and prioritize requests based on value potential.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships within and outside of technology, serving as the face of technology project management.
  • Regularly assess and communicate progress of ongoing projects and in-flight work, timelines, budget, and value delivered.
  • Work with project managers to identify and mitigate risks, issues, and escalate and bring stakeholders together to resolve them.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making within the team and among stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in project management, portfolio management, and measurement in an agile context.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing and developing a large, high-performing team.
  • Ability to influence and navigate complex situations without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in large technology organizations.
