About the Role

">

We are seeking an HR Compliance Specialist to support our senior living, assisted living, and memory care business line in Arizona and Nevada.

">

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compliance Support">

Advise on the application of Federal and State labor and employment laws and policies to ensure compliance.

">Acquisition Support">

Support Acquisition activity for Arizona and Nevada, Pinnacle entities.

">Training and Development">

Provide training and development of HR systems and processes for new business office managers and wellness leaders.

">Community Support">

Understand human resources needs of assigned communities via analysis of community-specific human resources data as well as regular communication with local administrators, business office managers, and wellness leaders.

">Training Identification">

Identify training/development needs of assigned communities and act as liaison with various service center departments to provide appropriate community-specific training.

">Partnership Building">

Partner with Compliance, Payroll, and Benefits department to facilitate training as needed.

">Accommodations Assistance">

Assist assigned communities with reasonable accommodations and the interactive process under the ADA.

">Data Analysis">

Analyze human resources data such as employee satisfaction survey scores, employee satisfaction survey comments, new hire survey responses, exit interview information, unemployment claims data and turnover statistics.

">Incident Reporting">

Investigate HR-related complaints and document investigation and resolution.

">Compliance Reporting">

Report any incidents of non-compliance or high-risk actions to the Director of HR, and/or the Compliance Partner.

">Workday Support">

Provide Workday HR Resource support for Pinnacle senior living, assisted living, and memory care entities.

">Background Check Support">

Provide Accurate Background Check training and support for Pinnacle entities.

">Job Description Development">

Assist with local operational job description development.

">Policies and Procedures">

Create or revise human resources policies, procedures, and related documents/forms.

">Audit Support">

Audit selected HR activities such as personnel files, FLSA or HR policies/processes periodically to determine consistency of administration and compliance.

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field, SHRM certification preferred.

">

You will also have a minimum of 3 years HR experience, willingness to travel throughout Arizona and Nevada with occasional overnight stays as needed, up to 60%, continuous improvement focus, collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, detail-focused, and ability to set appropriate priorities amongst multiple demands.

Candidate Profile

">

We are looking for someone with knowledge of state and federal employment compliance regulations to include Wage & Hour, FMLA, ADA, Workers Comp etc. - multistate experience strongly preferred.

">

You should have experience in employee relations, recruiting, diversity initiatives, and employee life cycle, positive, flexible, and caring personality who displays good judgment, inspires confidence, and handles confidential matters with discretion.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.
