About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Compliance Specialist to join our team at the Arizona Official Website of State of Arizona. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with laboratory licensure and certification requirements, conducting inspections, and reviewing quality systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections to determine compliance with statutes, rules, and internal procedures.
  • Monitor and review quality systems, tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data.
  • Attend staff, advisory committee, and/or laboratory organization meetings.
  • Participate in investigations as directed.
  • Request feedback from clients regarding services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in laboratory science plus 3+ years experience appropriate/relevant in lab field.
  • Must have driver's license and ability to travel.
  • State, Federal or National certification/approval for appropriate field(s); must be obtained within 1 year of employment.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
