Marketing Manager Job Description

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at a new property in Breckenridge. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing online marketing programs, managing our online presence, and creating engaging content for our branded hotel websites and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage online presence and create unique and engaging content for branded hotel websites, vanity websites, and third-party sites.
  • Work with designated agencies, including Hilton Brand, to ensure that hotel websites are optimized using current best practices for SEO.
  • Support all areas related to online/digital marketing, including email marketing campaigns and social media management.
  • Utilize current reporting from agencies, brands, and Google Analytics to drive improved content and marketing initiatives and decisions.
  • Continually manage social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, ensuring imagery and copy are consistent with the identity and positioning of the property and outlets.
  • Support promotional packages/campaigns, including requesting creative, drafting the communication plan, and sending a marketing recap once completed.
  • Monitor trends, online media, brand reputation, and ensure management responds accordingly to online travel and review websites.
  • Work directly with PR agencies to support creation of property initiatives that reinforce identity and positioning, with execution in a timely manner.
  • Utilize current reporting from agencies and third-party sources to drive improved content, PR initiatives, and decisions.
  • Support in the development of break-thru creative materials, online and offline.
  • Supports with communication, including flyers, signs, eblasts, etc., working with supporting management, ownership, and design on design and creation of new materials.
Requirements:
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a marketing position, with hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent comprehension and literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Computer literacy, specifically MS Word for Windows.
  • Communication at all levels; multi-tasking; time management.
  • Current search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
  • Use of content management systems (CMSs) to update hotel websites.
  • Administrative knowledge for social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Administrative knowledge for Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout, or other related platforms.
