Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a genuine passion for pets and customer service
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team that's dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Drive sales growth and improve store profitability through effective merchandising and inventory management
  • Ensure store cleanliness and maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert recommendations to customers
  • Collaborate with the home office team to implement company initiatives and policies
  • Conduct regular training sessions to develop the skills and knowledge of team members
  • Manage store operations, including receiving, stocking, and facing of products
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
  • Maintain accurate cash handling skills and perform basic math calculations
  • Assist in evaluating and writing employee reviews
  • Communicate effectively with team members and home office staff
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Highly accountable and has integrity
  • Has the flexibility to work within our normal store operating hours, including weekends
  • Ability to delegate and communicate effectively
  • Desire to build a career with Pet Pros
