Job Summary

At Ryan Infrastructure Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Foreman to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing all concrete construction activities on our construction sites. They will work closely with construction crews, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that concrete work is executed efficiently and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Preparation: Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand concrete requirements, develop a concrete construction plan, and ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and scheduled.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage concrete construction crews, provide clear instructions and guidance to workers, and monitor work progress and productivity.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that concrete mixes are prepared correctly and meet specified quality standards, monitor concrete placement and finishing, and conduct regular inspections to identify and address any defects or issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, report project progress, challenges, and deviations from the plan to higher management, and assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Driver's License required.
  • Extensive experience in concrete construction, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be willing to do satisfy customer requests.
  • Must be able to communicate with higher level/executive management with confidence.
  • Must be a quick thinker and able to adapt to changes at anytime.
