About the Job

The ASPCA is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at the ASPCA Animal Hospital. As a Veterinarian, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical care to animals in need, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our animal welfare programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to animals in our hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for animals in our care
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and animal care professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for animals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest animal welfare and veterinary medicine best practices
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our animal welfare programs, including our Access to Veterinary Care program
Requirements
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Current veterinary license in the state of New York
  • At least 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
