ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Elk Mills, Maryland.

We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Our Nurse Residency Program is designed to provide new graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The program includes a combination of didactic education, simulation training, and clinical experience, with a focus on developing critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Our medical and surgical nursing units at Newark and Wilmington campuses serve a diverse patient population, with a wide range of complex diagnoses and surgical procedures.

Nurses who complete our residency program will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including medical and surgical units, and will be supported by a team of experienced preceptors and mentors.

We are committed to the growth and development of our nurses, and offer a range of opportunities for professional advancement, including tuition reimbursement and certification support.

Requirements:

  • Graduating from an accredited registered nursing school (BSN preferred)
  • BLS certification required
  • Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program
  • Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse or multi-state RN from a compact state
