Job Description & Requirements

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nurse Residency Program, a comprehensive training program designed to support new nurses in their transition to practice.

The Nurse Residency Program is a 12-month program that combines didactic education, simulation training, and clinical preceptorship to provide a strong foundation in nursing practice. The program is accredited with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

We are currently seeking Nurse Residents for our Medical and Surgical units at our Newark and Wilmington campuses. If you are a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Graduating from an accredited registered nursing program (BSN preferred)
  • BLS certification required
  • Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program
  • Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse or multi-state RN from a compact state
