Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers with a focus on technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as per ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management protocols during project execution.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers to manage project tasks and timelines effectively.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of supplier components to ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
  • Oversee the assignment, review, and approval of engineering documentation updates.
  • Report on project milestones and team performance during management briefings.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field is preferred, with relevant experience considered.
  • A minimum of 6 years in engineering design roles is essential.
  • Prior experience in a leadership capacity within engineering teams is required.
  • Expertise in mechanical drawing GD&T is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with aluminum casting processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a regulated quality assurance environment is advantageous.
