Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead our Global Program Management team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and portfolios in a senior leadership role.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. as a Senior IT Project Manager and contribute to the company's mission to create and supply innovative pharmaceutical therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Global Program & Project Managers for DX projects in specific areas such as Functional Units (R&D, Tech, CSPV, QA), Business Units, and Corporate Functions.
  • Ensure consistent and effective management of approved Global and Regional IT projects and optimized PM resource allocation.
  • Guide Program Managers to design and charter programs to efficiently plan, execute, and manage a group of interdependent projects to realize overall program benefits in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership, and ensure that assigned PMs provide timely and accurate reporting and articulation of the strategic value of programs and projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in global program and project management, with 7 or more years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in aligning projects with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Experience in developing Project Management Offices (PMO) with project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
