Job Overview

As a Cannabis Consultant at Evolve Cannabis, you will serve as the approachable and knowledgeable representative of our brand to customers. The Cannabis Consultant will provide exceptional customer service, assist in product dispensing at designated areas, and ensure adherence to state regulations.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities encompass offering tailored consultations to customers, imparting comprehensive product knowledge, processing sales transactions, ensuring compliance, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.

A Cannabis Consultant at Evolve Cannabis must possess a deep passion for cannabis, extensive knowledge of its components, consumption methods, and the Endocannabinoid System.

  • Welcome customers warmly in-person and via phone
  • Facilitate sales in accordance with state regulations
  • Maintain customer records and provide information regarding products and regulations
  • Assist customers in selecting products and educating them on safe dosages
  • Support the General Manager with inventory and cash management
  • Ensure a welcoming and clean retail environment
  • Dispense cannabis following established operational procedures
  • Be adaptable with the work schedule, particularly on weekends
Qualifications

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of post-secondary education in a relevant field preferred
Work Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced customer service-oriented industry
  • Progressive work history and readiness to embrace additional responsibilities
Knowledge Requirements
  • Proficiency in computer operations and POS systems
  • Understanding of state cannabis laws
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic for inventory and cash management
  • Familiarity with cannabis components, strains, consumption methods, and available products

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
