Job Summary

Montana Tech is seeking an experienced Administrative Associate III to support the day-to-day operations of three departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling phone calls, maintaining calendars, replying to emails, directing visitors, and managing budgets. Additionally, the position will gather and archive program review and departmental operations documents, assist faculty with meeting support, and perform various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to three departments, including answering phone calls, maintaining calendars, and replying to emails.
  • Manage budgets, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare travel expense reports.
  • Gather and archive program review and departmental operations documents.
  • Assist faculty with meeting support, including disseminating meeting agendas, acting as recording secretary, and compiling meeting minutes.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including distributing alternative pins, preparing periodic reports, and training newly hired administrative associates.
Requirements
  • Associate degree.
  • Minimum of one year of office administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Banner, Moodle, MUS Data Warehouse, and Secretaries Database.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
