Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Social Work Specialist to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work and be licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

The successful candidate will work 28 hours per week in Everett, Chelsea, East Boston, Revere, and Winthrop, providing social, economic, and psychological support to patients and their families. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and goals
  • Provide direct service, consultation, and referral to community resources
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program
  • Minimum two years of social work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts
  • Local travel required
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
