Licensed Social Worker/ Clinical Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Social Worker/ Clinical Specialist to join our team at Clarendon Early Education Services Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will provide comprehensive case management services to educators, clients, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with families experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, severe mental illness, or other crises to connect them to resources and provide ongoing support.
- Make referrals for Early Learning and Early Intervention, Family Child Care, and School Age families, maintaining ongoing communication with community agencies and contacts.
- Coordinate and facilitate focused case management as needed, ensuring timely and effective support for families and educators.
- Provide information and support related to mental health, substance abuse, or other issues as needed, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Develop and facilitate reflective communities of practice for educators, staff, and families, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Attend case management meetings for individual families as needed, ensuring comprehensive support and advocacy.
- Offer individual consultation to educators, families, and staff, providing guidance and expertise.
- Maintain accurate casefile management and reporting, including up-to-date case notes, contact logs, and referrals.
- Provide emergency response management to address any crises or safety issues that may arise, prioritizing the well-being of families and educators.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and families in a clinical social work capacity.
- Attained licensure as an LSW, LICSW, or LCMH.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work or counseling.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems.
- Excellent crisis management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Portuguese, English/French Creole) preferred.
