We are looking for a seasoned sales leader to join our team as an Area Vice President (AVP) in the Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing a $30M SaaS business to $100M+ and will be responsible for leading a team of Regional Vice Presidents and Account Executives to expand Anaplan's footprint in the Public Sector.
The AVP will work closely with our Managing Director for the Americas to develop and execute a business plan to expand business into new accounts throughout the region. This includes guiding and managing the activities of the RVPs to ensure company revenue goals and objectives are exceeded, working with counterparts in pre-sales, marketing, alliances, and customer success to ensure a holistic plan for growth, and developing and executing on a business plan to expand business into new accounts.
The ideal candidate will have excellent C-level communication skills, a minimum of 10 years of enterprise software sales experience, and a strong track record of exceeding company sales quotas in a complex sales environment. They will also have a thorough understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region.
