Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Westin DC Downtown in Washington, DC. As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background in a related field. A valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification are also required. At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience is preferred, but not required. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer with Marriott International, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $28.88 to $38.50 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including health care benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
