Role Overview

The Principal Specialist in Strategic Planning plays a crucial role in fostering new business growth, innovation, and development. This position significantly impacts the strategic direction, operational efficiency, competitive stance, profitability, and long-term viability of the organization.

This role is essential for steering strategic initiatives, aligning the North American division with overarching goals, and facilitating transformative change. The Principal Specialist ensures the effective execution of critical modifications, enhances organizational efficiency, and adapts to shifting market dynamics.

Responsibilities include overseeing the timely and budget-conscious development and implementation of new business technology solutions, integrating cross-divisional systems, and innovating business processes to meet current and future customer demands.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in developing and executing business strategies.
  • 3-5 years in business development, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Deep understanding of the automotive industry.
  • 7-10 years in Parts, Service & Technical functions with comprehensive knowledge of operations.
  • Experience in leadership roles.
  • Proven program management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
