About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis team at Northern Rivers Family of Services. As a Clinician, you will provide crisis risk assessments, crisis stabilization, and interventions to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises.

Responsibilities

  • Provide rapid response to adults, children, adolescents, and families in crisis, conducting risk assessments, mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening.
  • Develop and implement crisis stabilization plans, safety plans, and crisis prevention plans, coordinating with community resources and team members as needed.
  • Provide short-term crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals in their homes or communities.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure effective crisis response and follow-up care.

Requirements and Education

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field, with licensure as an LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, MSW-LP, or MHC-LP.
  • Two years of related experience, with a valid NYS Driver's License and willingness to drive to clients' homes and communities.
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community locations, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
