Job Overview

Agemark Senior Living Communities is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Director to lead our team at Sage Glendale in Glendale, CA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the community, including staff management, financial oversight, and building relationships with families and loved ones of residents.

As the Executive Director of the community, you will be the driving force behind our mission to provide award-winning, high-quality, consistent, and personalized services to our residents. You will lead the team to create an environment where teamwork thrives, maintain staffing levels, lead and empower your management team, budget and manage finances, and collaborate with other Agemark properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to deliver exceptional resident, family, and employee satisfaction
  • Manage staff, including hiring, work allocation, onboarding, orientation, and training
  • Set performance expectations and encourage a positive, family-like culture
  • Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports by evaluating performance outcomes, rewarding and recognizing excellent work, and recommending changes
  • Manage budgets and partner with corporate accounting to ensure the ethical use of funds
  • Build relationships by working with your marketing/sales staff members to reach families seeking services for their loved ones and share what makes Agemark Residence a special, trustworthy place
  • Collaborate with other Agemark properties and the corporate team

Requirements:

  • Previous senior living experience with a hands-on leadership style
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years managing staff and budget in a relative field
  • Comfortability using technology, including different web-based software, including MS Office 365
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to plan and prioritize in a complex environment
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization and in the local community
