Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Care Transition to join our team at Royal Palms Post Acute. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and public relations strategies to promote our facility and its services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and public relations plans to increase census and promote our facility's services.
  • Promote our facility and its services to external stakeholders, including physicians, discharge planners, and community leaders.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our facility's admission requirements, services, and programs, and conduct tours and pre-admission interviews with prospective residents and their families.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media contacts and ensure timely communication of new programs and promotions.
  • Provide regular updates to the Administrator on media coverage and regulatory developments that may impact our facility.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing and public relations in a healthcare setting, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a specialization in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, and community relations.
  • Ability to make direct sales calls and deliver public presentations.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including experience, education, and qualifications.
