Strategic Retail Director for Growth and Profitability

We are a family-owned hospitality company with nearly three decades of experience operating concessions in national, state, and local parks. Our mission is to enhance the visitor experience by acquiring underperforming park concessions, turning them around, and exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the retail team to maximize business performance and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Retail department, other departments, and vendors.
- Direct buying teams to create product assortments that support customer needs and achieve space efficiency.
- Review and reconcile monthly financials to ensure Retail operations are on target.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years leading a Merchant team with proven success in surpassing revenue goals.
- POS experience.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, including coaching, development, and communication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS system functionality.
Location and Salary:
This is a full-time, in-office role at our corporate office in Overland Park, KS. The estimated annual salary range is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
