Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee field operations and drive project success. As a key member of our Heavy Civil division, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, coordinating subcontracts, and ensuring quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve project goals
  • Establish and control project budgets, identifying and mitigating cost variances
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to company standards
  • Implement and enforce company safety programs, OSHA operating standards, and job site cleanliness protocols
  • Prepare and manage daily time cards and logs for personnel under supervision

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on heavy civil projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects, meeting deadlines, and controlling costs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites in Northern and Southern California
