GPAC, a leading recruitment company, is partnering with a well-established company in the HVAC and Plumbing industry to find an experienced MEP Superintendent. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working individual to join a recognized industry leader and enjoy a fast-paced, high-energy work environment.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of installing commercial HVAC systems and equipment for various types of commercial projects. This includes attending weekly construction meetings with general contractors, communicating directly with project managers, and working through problems as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in developing and regularly updating project schedules and all associated project reporting.
- Manage and lead on-site tradesmen, promoting and enforcing a safe work environment and safe work practices.
- Communicate effectively within the project team and with external stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC and Plumbing.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with proficiency in commercial building construction related to plumbing, HVAC, and electric.
- Positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional results.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
