Veterinary Dentistry Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician II to join our team at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the advancement of veterinary medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of high-quality patient care, including dental procedures and treatments.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, under the supervision of a veterinarian.
- Conduct dental exams, take radiographs, and perform other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Assist with case management, including scheduling and coordinating appointments and procedures.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, students, and clients.
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent experience.
- NYS licensure or eligibility to be licensed.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and restrain animals, as needed.
